Filter Specification:

Type A1 Protection Factor: Used for organic gas and vapour with boiling point higher than 65 degrees. It is marked as brown on the filter. The most commonly used chemicals are Benzene, Ethyl acetate, Cyclohexane, Ethanol, Xylene and its isomers, Toluene, 4-methyl-2-pentanol, n Hexane, Isooctane.

Type B2 Protection Factor: Used for gases and vapours of inorganic chemicals. It is marked with grey colour on the filter. The most commonly used chemicals in this group are Chlorine, Phosgene, Hydrogen sulphide, Hydrocyanic Acid.

E2 Type Protection Factor: It is used against sulphur dioxide and hydrogen chloride gases and vapours. It is marked with yellow colour on the filter.

K2 Type Protection Factor: Used against ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives. It is marked with green colour on the filter.

Hg Type Protection Factor: Provides protection against mercury vapour. It is marked with red colour on the filter.

P3 Type Protection Factor: Provides protection against dust with a MAK (maximum permissible concentration) value of less than 0.1 mg/m3, toxic, carcinogenic and radioactive dust.
